Today, July 24, 2011 is my great grandson's 1st birthday!

He was born 1 day prior to his due date at a whopping 8lbs 9oz. He has gotten so big so fast and won his first contest. It's a free photoshoot by Patti Gerbrand Photography. He gets to smash a giant cupcake while she takes pictures! Can't wait to post some of thos pics!!

Cupcake is Scensty's July Warmer of the month!

Isn't think quite the warmer. I swear each month has been getting better and better. I really enjoy the warmer off the month and scent of the month each month. I'm going to start blogging each warmer of the month and scent of the month on or around the 1st (as soon as I find out basically). But since this month is my first month blogging it's getting in the right month at least! Ha!

So, this is a 3 part warmer. The "icing" comes off and the scent can go in the holder, and then you can place the "icing" back on. It's one of the only warmers I know of that has a top. Which is a great idea!

This is a perfect gift for that avid baker you know! I bake a lot and know a few bakers that would love this warmer!

And the scent of the month is so fitting...Happy Birthday!

Host a Scentsy Party or Having a Basket Party?

Thinking of having a Scentsy Party? Here are the differences between a home party and basket party.

Home Party:

• Have a bunch of friends/family over to mingle
  

• Have some appies or munchies for guests

• Have a few games with prizes from your consultant

• Invite over any potential people that you would think would love to become a consultant or have parties

Basket Party:

• Take the small testers anywhere you go and introduce them to people

• Get orders together yourself

• Skips the whole party idea but you still get your free credits as if it were a home party

To vacation, or staycation!

To go on vacation... or to staycation... that seems to be the question this summer!
Well my bank account says staycation, but my mind and body want a vacation!

Did you know... when becoming a consultant... you can win incentive trips to places like Disneyland? It's been done. My leader has gone more than once infact just came back!

I would really like to go to Disneyland.......for freeeeeeee!

Lions, tigers, Zebras? oh my!

I love zebras!

If you seen my house, you would know I have a zebra infactuation!

First scentsy purchase was a Zebra warmer, and wouldn't you know it...the second the plug in's came out... I bought the Zebra Plug In!

I'm waiting for the Zebra buddy next!! (dear scentsy, please make me a zebra buddy we can name him... Zuma the Zebra!)

It goes so well with my bathroom decor! and well pretty much with all of my decor since I have the whole Zebra theme throughout the house!

My Husband actually said...can we tone it down on the zebra!

I have a friend who collects little cotteges. I also have a friend who loved pigs and someone who collected cows. Maybe there will be a cow buddy coming soon? I hope Scentsy is reading :) ;) I have plenty of ideas!

Scentsy 2011 Spring Summer Favorites

Margot

This warmer is in my bedroom. It's called Margot.
It is the most elegant looking warmer (in my opinion) and so goes with my bedroom decor.

I burn Lucky in Love and it sets the ambiance and romantic scent.

The pearls on this are beautiful just like the color.

My room is a light brown suede looking color. This is a brownish metallic with pearls all around.

I find this one a very hot seller. I typically average about 1 sale per month of just this warmer alone!

Hello world! I am an independent scentsy consultant who loooooves Scentsy!
I'm not here to spam. I am essentially bringing the home party to the world wide web!
If you wish to help me grow my business - that would be FANTASTIC of course!! But my main goal is to make friends and have fun on the web!

My name is Faye Nidosky. I was first introduced to Scentsy from my neice. She went to a party and thought it would be worth to start up her own business.
I wanted to help her out, but also saw something in this product. It honestly sells itself. I can show you pictures and explain things to you, but until you are right in front of it and see it with the "Naked Eye" you see the greatness of the product.
I honestly don't think the pictures in the order book do it enough justice... (no offence to the photographer) but it really just doesn't. you have to see them and feel them and then you can visualize where you want to put it in your house.

My granddaughter Christina helps me with my scentsy business. She helps me with the labels, and the inventory, and writing out orders, and the parties I have. Anyone can do this alone, I just need some extra help as I am visually impared. I lost my eye sight quite a few years ago and there are some things I can't do. That she helps me with.

But I am pretty self sufficent. I can use a computer. I have a program that reads my e-mails out to me. I have a voice recorder that I use as my extra brain/memo pad/address book!

So when Scentsy found me, i thought it was a perfect match. Maybe I can't see, but there is sure nothing wrong with my sence of smell!
And what would a plug in or warmer be without its smell?

Have you ever come home and thought, "ewwww...what is that smell?" Once you have some scentsy going in your home, your thought process will change to..."Mmmmm what is that smell".

The scents are only improving. The Scent of the month (July) is Happy Birthday which smells like birthday cake. Wouldn't you love to walk into the kitchen and smell birthday cake. YUM!
Or if you're the type that doesn't like the smell of food or baking....Maybe a beautiful ocean smell.

There are so many to choose from. There is at least one for everyone.
